Capturing real human emotion and heartfelt moments has always been a passion of mine, and it carries over into my work at Jessica Abby Photography . While many photos nowadays are staged, I specialise in the raw feelings and emotions that are happening in any given moment throughout your photo session, from nervous laughter to adoring looks of love.

My goal is to me as non-invasive as possible, so your natural emotions, movements, and feelings will shine through in every photograph. I love getting to know my clients, and getting a better understanding of who they are and what they’re looking for. You’ll work directly with me from your initial consultation, to your final album design. These are your photos, and it’s important to me that you’re a big part of the whole process, so we can achieve the look, and lasting memories you’re hoping for.

Though I consider myself laid back when it comes to my style of photography, I am also a perfectionist, and it’s my guarantee that not only will you have a stress-free photography experience, but you’ll receive honest images that are a true reflection of your love.

Why photography?

A person’s individual personality really tends to shine through when it comes to photography, both during the session, and well after photographing them. I’ve always loved being able to really peel back a person’slayers through photos and reveal true emotions and feelings. The right picture can do just that, and truly say so much about a person.

Why weddings?

It brings me great joy every time I’m able to give a marrying couple a gift of loving memories through photographs. I’m always deeply honoured to be chosen as a wedding photographer, because there is truly no day that is more special, loving, and full of cherishable moments that I feel so lucky to be a part of each and every time.

Perfect day?

My perfect day would consist of exploring Melbourne, visiting small towns and markets (I have quite the obsession for chic, vintage chairs!), and dining at one of Melbourne’s incredible restaurants. I adore floral prints, and eclectic style, which may reflect onto my favourite travel destination - The colourful and vivid lifestyles in Marrakesh and Barcelona.
