The Art Of Finding Your Ideal Clients

There is an art to finding your ideal clients and it starts with knowing exactly who they are.

You need to design your client avatar which is a detailed profile on the type of client you wish to attract. Included in the avatar should be the following:

  • age
  • gender
  • job
  • income bracket
  • religion
  • interests and hobbies
  • location
  • style
  • values
  • education

Take some time to consider if you really know your target market. Who do you want to serve? Why are they the clients you want? If you don't have clear answers you need to invest some time in identifying your market so you can focus on the next step.

Once you know the clients you want to attract you can start marketing to them through targeted social media campaigns, email promotions, blogging and other advertising methods.

Without this information there is no way you can reach the clientele you desire. You may as well pass out flyers in the mall and hope for the best if you don't have a well-considered client avatar.

Once you have perfected your customer avatar you will be ready to create valuable content for them. You will be able to create content addressing their needs and it will be authentic content that will become an asset to your business.
