When Helen and James reached out to me and they expressed they wanted a unique wedding that represented them, I knew I was the photographer for them.
Helen and James opted for a first look on top of their apartment building. The reason: to look back on the first property they purchased together! What a way to make it extra special in many years to come to look back on.
I know you don’t see this one often, but it was so much fun. After the emotional first look with their family and closest friends, they walked to their favourite bar and shared a beer. Then they relaxed for an hour with their closet friends and family before heading to the ceremony. How awesome is that?
Helen and James had the most beautiful wedding ceremony. I personally thought that the little details, the pops of colour and rules of their wedding made the day memorable. One of these was that they asked their best friends to be the ones to marry them. The celebrant was only there to assist and help officiate it. This made the ceremony very special and personalised. I thought it was one of the most beautiful parts of the day.
