Are you planning an intimate wedding or an elopement celebration?

Do you need a small amount of coverage to capture your wedding ceremony and some magical bridal portraits...

A small wedding is an incredibly personal and intimate way to declare your love for each other. I’ll be right there as a third wheel capturing every happy tear, belly laugh and your adoring looks of love.

My photography services are now customizable to fit your micro wedding, Melbourne registry wedding, and elopements around the greater Melbourne region. This unique package is perfect for adding the beauty and magic of a luxury wedding into your intimate setting. I truly enjoy capturing moments that are only found in smaller groups and more detailed locations. There is a certain charm to smaller venues that always ends with fantastic and distinctive photos.

Nothing is more exciting than the sharing of vows between two people that love each other. The deep devotion and commitment are something to be cherished no matter the venue. Having a more intimate guest list adds a level of emotion to each picture that ends with a gratifying experience. I look forward to sharing this celebration with your next mini wedding.

Having a micro wedding has become very popular since the pandemic. Life has changed the availability of venues, guests, and gathering together for more significant ceremonies. To help you plan, I have put together a small list of the more frequently asked questions I receive concerning micro weddings.

Kimiko & Kevin

From a chance encounter in Japan to an intimate wedding at the Old Treasury Building. Kimiko and Kevin's story unfolds in emotive frames, with family ties honored as Kimiko's mother flew from Japan to witness the union of these destined souls. The sweet ceremony and photo shoot in the scenic gardens was just perfect.

Ryan & Yixuan

In Australia's oldest artists' community of Montsalvat, Ryan and Yuaixan's love story was beautifully framed. With historic charm and picturesque spots, they exchanged vows intimately, witnessed by their two closest friends, later indulging in a celebratory lunch at the estate's cozy restaurant.

Nag & Jaimie

The surrounding gardens and buildings provide a classic gallery of images for you after marrying the love of your life at the Melbourne Registry Building. View Nag and Jaimie's beautiful celebration.

Hugh & Kate

Busy doctors Hugh and Kate, were short on time but not romance! Utilising the locations close by the Treasury Building we photographed a gorgeous gallery of images. Hugh requested to use locations including classic and modern buildings.

Tom & Ash

If you are wondering how many Melbourne locations we can fit in within your minimum two hours coverage. We keep all the locations nice and close to the registry office to minimise any travel time and maximise your photography time... take a look.

Rachel & Jackson

Your intimate wedding can be anywhere you feel that would suit. Rachel and Jackson's married at their parents home in the backyard and it was perfect. As the house was very close to the beach we started the session on the beach capturing the portraits first.

Janai & Andrea

An Intimate Celebration of Love: surprising their parents, this wedding was a heartfelt testament to love and companionship. Surrounded by both sets of parents Janai and Andrea exchanged vows where they got engaged with tears, laughter, and utter surprise.

Charlie & Steph

Steph and Charlie's had the most heartfelt wedding at the registry office then strolled together through the Treasury Gardens nearby. Radiantly expecting, with a toddler in tow, their happiness shines in photographs that captured the essence of their growing family.

Tom & Cheree

Featured on Ivory Tribe! For Tom and Cheree, the pandemic and subsequent restrictions helped them realise what they truly wished for their wedding day; a simple yet stunning celebration of the things that mean most to them; friends, family and love, set against an epic ocean backdrop.

Maddi & Dean

'Jessica was a fantastic photographer for our wedding, she was patient, knowledgeable and certainly captures the true essence of our relationship, not only in the posed photos but also the beautiful candid photos she snapped in between.
My partner and I are certainly not photogenic people but Jessica took the time to get to know us and make some great memories.
Jessica was friendly, down to earth and a true professional - you won't regret booking her.'

FAQ for Micro Weddings, Registry Weddings & Elopements

What exactly is a Micro Wedding?

This is a far more intimate and relaxed affair with typically 5-30 guests. It still features all the time-honored traditions that make a wedding so beautiful but on a much smaller scale. Most micro weddings are held in smaller venues like a lovely family backyard, a registry office, or a rustic farmhouse.

What are the minimum hours of coverage for a registry, elopement, or micro wedding?

Your wedding day is special and unique. That is why my micro wedding package is tailor-made for your specific event. I start my micro wedding packages with a base of two hours of photography, then we build a plan from there that fits your day perfectly.

How much is the micro wedding package?

The full range of services will depend on how your special day will unfold, but the package starts at a reasonable $1,400.

Where and when are you available?

The when will depend on my current schedule of bookings. The where is in and around the gorgeous setting of Melbourne. I am fully prepared to come to your wedding location, including the CBD, Dandenong Ranges, Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine Peninsula, Macedon Ranges, Daylesford, and the Yarra Valley.

My micro wedding package is designed for small wedding settings, including the Melbourne Registry office, intimate backyards, parks, homes, and smaller restaurants and venues.. Please do not hesitate to send me your location to see how we can best get the photos that will last for a lifetime.

Have you photographed at the Registry Office in Melbourne before?

Yes! I have successfully photographed many weddings at the Melbourne Registry Office and then using the gorgeous Treasury Gardens as a backdrop for you and your partner. There are endless ways to use such an intimate setting to capture your magical moments.

What days can I book you for our registry wedding photography?

I am happy to perform your registry wedding photography between Monday and Friday.

How do I book your services?

Everything starts when you send a simple email with the expected date and time of your upcoming ceremony. I will be happy to help answer more questions and iron out any details for your event.

What does your package include?

My micro wedding package includes four 8x10 inch fine art printed images that are mounted and ready for framing. Your gallery will be sent to you online where you can instantly download all your favourite memories and also simply share the link with family and friends.

Is a micro wedding, elopement, or registry common?

Absolutely, in fact, it is becoming a trend. Happy couples are more socially aware and willing to step outside the norm. Having a smaller setting allows you and your guests to share food, stories, and love without the stress and drama of a big event. Intimate weddings tend to shift the focus more to where it belongs, on you and your partner.

Are you ready to start planning your dream wedding? Reach out today and send me an email with the details. I look forward to hearing how your special day will unfold and how I can best provide my personalised service.
